The Tuscan Way starts with using the freshest ingredients available, so create your meal plan based on whatever fruits and vegetables are in-season in your area. The seasonal foods listed below are based on Tuscany’s seasonality.
Summer: Cucumbers, eggplant, cantaloupe/melon, peppers, zucchini, zucchini flowers, basil, tomatoes, peas, coconut, peaches, watermelon, berries, plums, figs
Fall: Fennel, spinach, mushrooms, truffles, rabe, pumpkin, chestnuts, figs, prunes, grapes, porcini mushrooms, apples
