Extraction Process
Want to know how olive oil is made?
Step 1
Olives
Olives grow on trees, after which they are harvested. Traditional olive groves usually include hundred-year-old trees. Olives are harvested using nets, tractors and other tools.
Step 2
Mill
After the olives are collected, they are transported to a mill for processing. First, olives are separated from the branches, leaves and debris and washed using water. Next, they are crushed to form a paste.
Step 3
Press
Solids and liquids are removed from the olive paste by using the cold pressing method. Once this process has been completed, excess water and sediments are separated from the olive oil.
Step 4
EXTRA VIRGIN PROCESS
REFINERY
Step 4
UNFILTERED EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from the first pressing of olives, without using heat or additional refining or processing methods.
Step 5
FILTRATION
Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained by lightly filtering olive oil.
